Arsenal youngster Louie Copley has confirmed he has suffered a ruptured ACL. The 19-year-old played for the Gunners first team against Real Betis, but has now been dealt a major setback with the knee injury. Copley said, "Words can't describe how I'm feeling right now, to making my pre-season debut for the team I've grown up supporting to finding out I've ruptured my ACL. The road ahead won't be easy but I'll give everything to come back stronger and better." The youngster had been hoping to use pre-season as an opportunity to impress and push towards further involvement with the first team, but his progress will now be put on hold. His focus will instead turn to recovery as he looks to return to full fitness and continue his development with Arsenal.
