Arsenal are currently unwilling to meet Paris Saint-Germain's €120m asking price for Bradley Barcola this summer. The 23-year-old French international attacker has postponed contract talks with Les Parisiens as he opens the door to a potential exit from the Parc des Princes.

What's the situation?

Several clubs are interested in signing the Frenchman, with Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Arsenal all hoping to acquire his services. According to Foot Mercato, Barcola has currently given his priority to Liverpool.

Why the valuation gap?

As was the case with Morgan Rogers, who eventually signed for Chelsea, the Premier League champions are unwilling to go above their valuation of a wide attacker this summer. The Gunners believe Barcola is only worth €90m, which falls €30m short of PSG's asking price.

What comes next?

With the new season not yet under way, Arsenal are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table with 70 points from 32 games, having scored 62 goals and conceded 24, giving them a +38 goal difference and a 6-point lead over Manchester City. Their next fixture is away to Ipswich on 2027-02-10.
