Arsenal winger Max Dowman has been presented with three official Guinness World Records for his historic breakthrough season. The 16-year-old is now recognised as the youngest player to win the Premier League, the youngest to score in it, and the youngest to appear in the Champions League.

Dowman received his certificates at the club's stadium this week. He won the league at 16 years and 144 days, breaking a record previously held by Phil Foden. His first Premier League goal came at 16 years and 73 days against Everton, a strike that saw him run from his own half. That effort beat the 19-year-old mark set by James Vaughan, in a match where current Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was playing for Everton.

He made his Champions League debut at 15 years and 308 days, surpassing Youssoufa Moukoko's record by 75 days. Dowman's achievements are featured in the newly released Guinness World Records Football Edition 2027, where he is the opening profile in the 'Class of '27' section. Senior editor Tom Beckerlegge said the youngster "sums up what the Class of '27 is all about".

"To have already achieved three Guinness World Records titles before turning 17 is extraordinary," Beckerlegge added, "and his story captures exactly why this generation of players is so exciting."

Dowman made 13 senior appearances during Arsenal's 2025-26 title-winning campaign, also scoring twice in a Carabao Cup win over Ipswich. His rapid rise saw him debut at 15 years and 235 days against Leeds United, winning a penalty in that match, though Ethan Nwaneri had made an earlier debut for the club in 2022. His contributions are now part of the club's official stats for that memorable season.

The young winger's recent form includes scoring twice against Ipswich Town in the Carabao Cup in September. He will be looking to feature as the Gunners, who currently sit second in the Premier League standings with 12 points from five games, aim to close a three-point gap to leaders Manchester City. Their next challenge in the fixtures list is a home match against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, where Dowman will hope to add to his tally.
